English Students on Graduation Ceremony

Since 1987, The Martin Luther King Cultural Center offers English language instruction for students, businessmen and women, and learners of all ages and language levels. Our courses are designed to help you learn practical spoken and written English. We offer classes in the afternoon and the evening Monday through Friday. 

Course organization

Courses are organized into 10 week sessions, meeting twice a week with the option of morning, afternoon, or  evening classes.  Currently we offer:

  • Three levels of beginner classes
  • Six levels of intermediate classes
  • Three levels of advanced classes
  • English for business

Prior to registration, students will take a placement exam in order to determine their current level.  Registered students will have free access to all MLK Facilities, including: computer terminals with internet access, the MLK Library with books in French and English, weekly magazines, daily newspapers, and the audio visual room.
